The global company showcases an extended portfolio of cooling solutions
MOSCOW, RUSSIA – Embraco, one of the world’s largest company in refrigeration market, is present at Climate World 2019, the most important event on refrigeration in Russia. From March 4th to 7th, the global company with headquarters in Brazil and having a business unit in Moscow, will be showcasing its innovative cooling solutions, which help improve quality of life around the world.
Apart from offering a wide array of technologies, Embraco will use this special opportunity to launch a whole range of cooling solutions for food retail and food service applications – from reach-ins and blast chillers to cold rooms to milk coolers. New condensing units (CUs) in multi refrigerant platforms, will be presented as well – including natural refrigerants, which are not yet compulsory in Russia. However, Embraco customers are spearheading this “green revolution“ and the company is ready and attentive to the new regulations that are to come.
Globally, Embraco has been positioning itself as a specialist in its segment, while presenting its new business approach – shifting from product to solution oriented. And Russia is no exception. For the past 25 years, Embraco has used natural refrigerants in its portfolio for commercial and household as an alternative to reduce the negative effects on the ozone layer, greenhouse effects and to improve the equipment’s energy efficiency.
Exhibited solutions – Compressors and Condensing Units
NEU: high efficiency, robust, low noise and fit for wide application range, this compressor is the ideal solution for food service, food retail and merchandisers. This platform is approved in R452A and R449A as drop-in of R404A models, and also contains natural refrigerant solutions.
NJX: new single piston compressor with 38 cc displacement in a compact design which stands out for low energy consumption, robustness and high reliability while being appropriate for a full range of applications. This extension can stretch the cooling capacity up to 2 horsepower (1,5 kW) for low-temperature applications, an improvement of up to 50 % in comparison to the current solutions. When compared to a 2-cylinder option, NJX boasts 50 % less weight and 20 % less height. The solution is ideal for all commercial refrigeration applications – refrigerated islands, milk coolers, glass doors, merchandiser, upright cabinets, reach-ins, ice cream makers and cabinets. The portfolio is available both in R290 and in R404/R452/R449 versions.
BIOMA Silent unit: a condensing unit for cold rooms with new silent features, attending environment requirements, innovative design and easy maintenance. Designed for outdoor applications, such as gas stations, restaurants, fast food (food service) and convenience stores (food retail). It’s available in medium temperatures (MBP) up to 10 kW and low temperature applications (LBP) up to 4 kW, appropriate for the latest refrigerants with low GWP solutions (R449A, R452A, R513A). With its stackable design, the unit stands out for accessibility, serviceability and compactness.
