From September 25th to 28th, Embraco will be attending ATMOsphere Asia and 2019 Bangkok RHVAC (Refrigeration, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning) trade show, the second largest exhibition in the Asia Pacific region. Both events will be held in the same place, bringing together the main players of the refrigeration industry in the region.
In ATMOsphere event, on the 25th, Embraco’s Sales Manager for Asia-Pacific region, Herlon Eckermann da Silva, will present a case study that resulted in up to 27% reduction on energy consumption in applications used in segments such as food service and convenience stores, using variable speed technologies – FMX and VES compressors. The same solutions, plus FMFT compressors, will be at the Bangkok RHVAC trade show, exhibited in partnership with customers Iceland and Beijer B.Grimm.
Market growth
According to a Research and Markets analysis, the heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) sector has a strong growth in the South East Asian (SEA) market. And Thailand is an important regional industry hub for the cooling sector. “The market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 9.30% during the forecast period of 2017 to 2023”, says the report.

FMX Series
A solution fit for bottle coolers, under-counters, horizontal freezers and household refrigerators. Through variable speed, the product features a wide voltage range, reduced energy consumption, as well as lower noise and vibration levels when compared to other solutions. Another advantage attributed to refrigerators equipped with FMX is better food preservation, since the compressor maintains a stable temperature, providing fresher and healthier food, and ensures accurate and consistent temperatures to safeguard sensitive products.
VES Series
It’s applications go from bottle coolers, ice cream cabinets and frozen islands to professional fridges. It is up to 45% more efficient than conventional compressors. It has low noise and vibration levels, and guarantees better food preservation through intelligent electronics which controls the cabinet internal temperature.
FMF Series
With the most efficient compressors in the market, it’s the ideal solution for larger cooling capacity applications such as reach-in coolers and freezers above 1,000 liters and supermarket frozen islands from 1.8 to 2.5 meters long, ice cream machines and medical applications.
These models are able to operate at broader speed ranges, allowing to reach target temperatures more efficiently. With the benefit of low noise and vibration, it has the potential to reduce energy consumption by up to 30%, compared to the traditional solutions available in the market.
